In his 1996 Master's thesis, the Managing Director of voWi Consulting analysed in detail how sporting activities strengthen social dynamics within teams and unlock individual potential. In particular, he examined how shared experiences in sport promote important social and personal skills for successful teamwork and leadership. His academic expertise formed the basis of sports-oriented training formats from the very beginning of his entrepreneurial career and continued at voWi Consulting, where he designed tailor-made training programmes in which teams use the outdoor sport of orienteering with map and compass to improve their long-term cooperation, experience shared successes, develop a strong sense of unity and acquire many other important personal and social skills.

Note: orienteering in teams does not take the form of a run (i.e. not a jog), but a normal walk.
